Amine blush is alkaline, so elevated pH readings can indicate its presence with a blue indication; however, other surface contaminants can also raise pH. How To Use: Spray the blue indicator solution on the area to be tested. Watch for color change on the surface and compare to the included color chart. Blue indicates a high pH level, and that an amine could be present. Interpreting Results: Amine free: yellow color indicates neutral/low pH Amine possible/probable: greenish blue color indicates moderate pH shift High contamination: Blue indicates strong alkaline indication
